If you are looking for a fun to drive, versatile car for less than $11k, I highly recommend this A3! This particular car has been owned since new by a particular Audi enthusiast who had a long distance commute, hence the higher miles. However it has been meticulously maintained and it runs and drives like new. If you haven’t had a chance to drive Audi’s 2.0 liter direct injected turbo, you’re in for a treat! It makes amazing power from idle to redline yet returns 33 mpg on the highway. I love the versatility of a small wagon/hatchback, so I have personally put quite a few miles on the car and have been very impressed!
This A3 is well equipped and comes with several upgrades as well, here is a quick rundown:
-Sport Package- 17” Wheels, Sport Suspension, Sport Seats, 3 spoke leather wrapped multifunction steering wheel, roof spoiler, fog lights, aluminum interior trim, leather shift knob and brake handle and leather seating- $1800
-Open Sky Sunroof- An amazingly cool glass panoramic sunroof that lets in lots of light!-$1200
-Bi-Xenon Headlights- $500
In addition to these the original owner added the following upgrades and accessories:
-STaSIS Engineering Coilovers- Using Koni Dampners and progressive springs give the car much improved handling with factory like ride quality and ride height adjustability.
-AWE Tuning in Dash Boost Gauge
-OEM Audi Winter floor mats and trunk mat
-OEM Audi Sunscreen
-OEM Audi 2010 A3 Sport 17” Wheels
-IPOD Adapter that plays through the OEM stereo
-Solar Guard Window Tint all the way around
This car is in fantastic shape and is current on all services. All of the recalls have been done and the timing belt was changed at the specified interval. I have a complete service history as well as all the books and keys. It has never been damaged and has a perfect Carfax and Autocheck history. I just installed 4 new Bridgestone Potenza’s.
It does have a couple cosmetic items I have elected not to repair in order to keep the price point low on the car (this is the least expensive A3 you will find anywhere..), they are:
- There are a couple of heavy scratches 2-3” in length on the lower right corner of the hood from flying debris on the freeway.
- There is a 24” long key scratch on the left rear door.
- The front bumper shows the expected road blast given the miles.
