2002 BMW 530i with VERY rare 5-speed manual and just 42k 1 owner miles!

If you have been looking for a REALLY nice, low mileage E39 with a manual transmission, this may be your car!

If you are reading about this car you probably already know that many Bimmerphiles consider the 2002-2003 530i’s to be the quintessential BMW;  Silky smooth inline six, classic styling and mechanically robust. In fact when this car was new BIMMER magazine called this car the BMW-est of all 5-series sedans. In particular the raves went out to this car featuring a manual transmission. By this era greater the 97% of all 5-series cars sold in the US were equipped with an automatic transmission, so much so that the only way to get one was via special order as the dealers refused to stock them. What a mistake! The manual transforms this car into something great…

This particular car was ordered new by its one and only owner at Prestige BMW and was ordered in very rare Toledo blue over Sand leather. As you can probably tell I am a quite a BMW nut but I have never seen this color before, SPECTACULAR!

As these cars age maintenance and repairs become bigger concerns. On BMW’s with the inline six such as this car, they are very robust. The concerns centers around BMW’s policy of lifetime fill, in particular the automatic transmission. Not an issue with this car! Additionally with the low mileage of 42k a person can put this car on a more stringent maintenance schedule to insure 300k+ miles out of this car. This car is equipped with just the Premium package adding leather, power glass sunroof, vavona wood trim, on board computer, rain sensing wipers, and auto dimming mirrors.

For the particular people out there (myself included!) I have the following: Original window sticker, both original keys, and all the books and manuals!

This car is gorgeous inside and out, has never been damaged, has a perfect history and would make a great addition to any BMW enthusiast’s collection. What a Car!
