2008 MINI Cooper “S” with just 10k original miles!! If you have been looking for the ultimate driving MINI, here is your car. This particular example caught my attention because it is optioned exactly the way I would have ordered one, all of the performance goodies and only a little of the fluff! It is of course the turbocharged, “S” model, why get one any other way? It features the all important Sport Package with items such as 17” wheels, specially tuned sports suspension and dynamic stability control, which will save your bacon when you do something stupid… Not that you normally would; but a car like this will bring out the inner teenager in all but the most staid of people… To top it off it has the all important limited slip differential. Most of these don’t have this option, but this allows all the turbocharged power to be put down mid corner, can you say street legal go cart… Now of course there are some important “fluff” options that are must haves, for me it would start with Bluetooth phone connectivity and a built is USB/IPOD adapter. Of course you have to have the multifunction steering wheel and center console so you can get comfortable piloting this machine… Now the fun also shouldn’t stop at night so it has the all important xenon headlamps and front and rear fog lights. Top that of with the stealth black roof and mirrors, very sleek! Now if all this performance talk seems a tad impractical don’t forget how functional these cars are. They have a very roomy hatchback with fold down rear seats for those Costco runs. They have 6 airbags and a plethora of safety equipment not to mention outrageous fuel mileage. This particular car shows a lifetime average of 31.2 mpg! Who says you can’t have it all? So here all the other important items to know:
